The Role
A secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join their team from May 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
The role involves supervising pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring students remain on task and follow the work set by teaching staff. You will manage classroom behaviour, support student engagement, and maintain a positive and structured learning environment in the absence of the class teacher.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain consistent classroom experience or for experienced Cover Supervisors seeking a stable, long-term role.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working with secondary-aged students (school-based experience desirable)
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
• Be confident leading a classroom and following lesson plans
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be reliable, adaptable, and professional
