£26,000 – £27,000 PA (paid hourly equivalent)
Full-time | 3 days on-site, 2 days from home
We’re working with a well-established business based in Small Heath, who are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant on a temporary basis with strong potential for the role to become permanent.
This is a varied position combining both finance and administrative responsibilities — ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail who enjoys supporting across multiple areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Completing Bank Reconciliations
- Supporting with month-end processes
- Resolving invoice queries and liaising with suppliers/customers
- Maintaining accurate records and internal databases
- Supporting wider team with internal projects
- Managing shared inboxes and occasional incoming calls
- Organising meetings and assisting with small-scale event coordination
- Filing, scanning, and archiving financial documents
- Experience in a similar finance support or admin role
- Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Available to start immediately
