Full-Time SEN HLTA – Outstanding Primary School (Reception to Year 2) – Birmingham Location: Birmingham Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract: Full-time, ASAP start (long-term or permanent for the right candidate) About Us We are a Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupils. We pride ourselves on nurturing every child’s potential and ensuring each child feels valued and supported. The Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN HLTA to join our team. You will work closely with teachers to support pupils with additional needs across Reception to Year 2, ensuring they access the curriculum fully and develop both academically and socially. Responsibilities include: Supporting pupils with SEN in class and through targeted interventionsAssisting with planning and delivering personalised learning activitiesMaintaining accurate records of pupil progressSupporting behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environmentCollaborating with teachers, parents, and SENCO to ensure pupils’ needs are met What We’re Looking For HLTA qualified with experience supporting pupils with SENExperience across early years and KS1 (Reception to Year 2)Strong understanding of inclusive education and differentiationExcellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a supportive team What We Offer Immediate start in a welcoming and highly supportive schoolOpportunities for long-term and potentially permanent employmentProfessional development and training opportunitiesA collaborative, friendly, and passionate team environment If you are committed to making a difference in the lives of young children with SEN and thrive in a school rated Outstanding by Ofsted, we would love to hear from you.
