Location: Birmingham

Salary: £35-40,000

A RIBA chartered architectural practice in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its team. The studio works across sectors including hospitality, healthcare, education, and residential, with a strong reputation for delivering high quality, client focused design. The ideal Architectural Technologist will bring solid post qualification experience along with strong technical expertise. Experience within the healthcare and residential sectors would be advantageous, and a high level of proficiency in Revit is required.

Requirements for the Architectural Technologist role

* Demonstrated experience working across a range of RIBA stages
* Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD within a BIM environment
* HNC/HND in a relevant subject or equivalent industry experience
* CIAT membership or working towards chartership
* Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations and technical standards
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem solving skills

Key Responsibilities

* Producing detailed technical drawings and documentation in line with company standards
* Managing the preparation and coordination of design information, including drawings, schedules, and specifications using CAD and BIM
* Taking on Project Manager responsibilities where required to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Attending site, project, and internal meetings to support coordination between stakeholders
* Keeping accurate project records and ensuring compliance with contractual and appointment requirements
* Supporting quality assurance processes and escalating any technical or contractual risks to senior team members
