EYFS Teaching Assistant
Are you a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a passion for Early Years? This lovely primary school in East Birmingham is looking to appoint a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a nurturing, engaging and stimulating environment. You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning through play, deliver small group activities and provide 1-2-1 support where needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that values creativity, care and early development. The school offers a supportive leadership team, a friendly staff environment and a strong focus on providing high-quality early years education. Job Role:
- Supporting children in the EYFS classroom on a 1-2-1 and small group basis
- Assisting with the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Supporting children’s social, emotional and communication development
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
- Assisting with observations and tracking pupil progress
- Encouraging independence and positive behaviour
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the classroom
- Work in a welcoming and supportive primary school
- Be part of a friendly and experienced EYFS team
- Gain valuable experience in early years education
- Receive ongoing support and guidance from staff and leadership
