We are recruiting for a Locum Dental Nurse to support NHS, mixed and private practices across Birmingham and the surrounding areas, including Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, West Bromwich and Dudley . This locum role offers flexibility, variety and the opportunity to work in a range of well-run dental settings. You can choose shifts that fit around your commitments while gaining exposure to different practice environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a Locum Dental Nurse seeking consistent work with trusted support.

Please note: We are unable to accept applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship. UK-based experience is essential for this role. You must be a fully qualified dental nurse and registered with the GDC

Required Skills & Experience for this Locum Dental Nurse:

• GDC registration as a Dental Nurse
• Proven UK dental nursing experience
• Experience supporting clinicians in NHS, mixed and private practices
• Knowledge of infection control, decontamination and CQC standards
• Confident chairside assistance and patient support skills
• Indemnity insurance
• Enhanced DBS

Suitable for Dental Nurse, Locum Dental Nurse and/or Temporary Dental Nurse

As a Locum Dental Nurse, your responsibilities may include:

• Providing chairside assistance during a range of dental procedures
• Preparing surgeries and ensuring all equipment is ready for use
• Maintaining high standards of infection control and decontamination
• Supporting patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience
• Updating clinical records accurately and efficiently
• Working collaboratively with dentists and wider practice teams

This role is based in Birmingham , covering Birmingham city centre and easily commutable surrounding areas including Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, West Bromwich and Dudley . Practices are well-connected by road and public transport, making this a convenient locum opportunity for a Locum Dental Nurse living locally.
