Project Manager (Associate Director), Payroll & Workforce Management
- Leadership of project management teams across multiple clients, geographies and variety of deliverables, providing guidance and coaching
- Collaborate with peers to deliver on broader PWFM strategic vision and goals, understanding key financial metrics and driving business development activity to meet these
- Forward planning and management of team resourcing across active and pipeline projects
- Work with colleagues and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource allocation for complex, multi-jurisdictional projects and implementations, leadership of project governance frameworks, and management of escalation pathways across a range of transformation and implementation projects
- Ensure the PMO team delivers appropriate project governance such as the tracking of notes, accurately documenting discussions, RAID items, and circulating minutes as appropriate
- Oversee Project Managers in the proactive creation, ownership and management of project plans
- Oversee Project Managers in the design and management of communication plans, including the preparation of stakeholder reporting and leading key stakeholder communication forums, as well as team level stand ups, workshops, status meetings and other forums
- Engage effectively with client teams, external advisors and third-party service providers
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness, providing strategic direction to junior resource
- Keep informed of payroll and workforce management technology trends and leading practices around program/project management, contributing to the continuous process improvement
- Work closely with colleagues in other parts of the firm, and other Deloitte offices, to develop and pursue opportunities
- Work as part of a diverse team within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
- Extensive experience leading large-scale, global projects and implementations
- Strong brand awareness and understanding of brand impact, both business and personal
- Experience with Dayforce / UKG
- Experience working with a blend of onshore/offshore teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical problems into actions to be taken to resolve
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
- Experience of full life cycle advisory and implementation projects including scoping, contracting, billing and cash collection
- Experience of working with multiple client stakeholders across industry sectors on a UK and global basis
- Effective prioritisation management and organisational skills, including the ability to lead and manage multiple workstreams and multiple different client projects
- Strong team-player and experience of developing and coaching high-performance teams across multiple geographies
- Working with third parties, including payroll vendors
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including business report writing, preparation and delivery of presentations, workshop participation and leadership
- Experience in preparing and delivering client proposals, including proactive engagement in seeking and securing new client projects
- Prince2 qualification
- Experience in Change Management across complex HCM implementations
- Involvement in business development activity and the production of marketing materials
