Vehicle Painter
Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role requires both technical skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Mix and match paint colours according to specifications or customer preferences. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision. Ensure proper application techniques are followed to achieve desired finishes. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as necessary. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines. Experience Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding equipment and tools used in painting tasks. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during preparation and application processes. Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour matching and finishing techniques. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
