Location: Stechford, Birmingham (B33)
Pay: £12.26 hour
Hours: Part time - 28 hours

This Is a High-Intensity, High-Impact Role
We’re not offering a standard support role—we’re offering the chance to be part of a specialist team supporting adults with complex needs, autism, learning disabilities , and behaviours that challenge in one of our most intensive care settings .
This role requires a solid foundation of experience, calmness under pressure, and a genuine commitment to making each day better for someone else—no matter how difficult it may be.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Intensive Support Worker , you'll provide 1:1 tailored support and help people live life on their own terms—whether that means:
Encouraging engagement through meaningful activities and structured routines
Assisting with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, or managing health appointments
Supporting individuals to access the community and enjoy hobbies or social events
De-escalating challenging behaviours using your professional knowledge and compassion
Maintaining up-to-date care plans, safeguarding reports, and risk assessments
You’ll be at the heart of everything we do— empowering people with complex needs to achieve independence and a life they’re proud of.
✅ We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:
6+ months of hands-on experience working with individuals with complex needs or behaviours that challenge
A calm, confident, and emotionally resilient approach
Practical understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and person-centred care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism, safety, and empathy
