Regional Account Manager

Adler & Allan
Birmingham

Job Description

Adler & Allan is growing, and we’re looking for a driven Regional Account Manager to help us expand our Environmental Engineering/consultancy/services across the region. If you’re commercially minded, proactive, and thrive on building strong client relationships, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

About the role

You’ll take ownership of developing and retaining a portfolio of customers—identifying opportunities, understanding client needs, and securing new contracts across key sectors & within a defined region. With a strong consultative approach, you’ll proactively generate new business, nurture existing relationships, and position Adler & Allan as the partner of choice for environmental risk, compliance, and engineering solutions.

This is a hands‑on, field‑based role where you’ll build a healthy pipeline, deliver persuasive proposals, and work closely with technical teams to ensure customers understand the full breadth of our capabilities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Achieving revenue, margin and contract‑win targets across your region
  • Building, managing and reporting on a strong sales pipeline
  • Developing and presenting compelling proposals and service offerings
  • Cross‑selling the full Adler & Allan service portfolio
  • Managing leads from first contact through to contract award
  • Strengthening relationships through structured customer contact plans
  • Working with technical teams to review customer assets and identify opportunities
  • Resolving customer concerns and ensuring long‑term satisfaction
  • Feeding market insights back into the business
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and sector‑focused outreach

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • A self‑driven, results‑focused approach
  • Proven experience in professional selling and influencing contract outcomes
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Experience in technical or service‑led commercial environments
  • Excellent presentation, communication and proposal‑writing skills
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels and manage a varied workload
  • Strong organisational and forecasting capability
  • A positive ambassadorial approach to representing Adler & Allan
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively

Additional Information

Adler and Allan are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in our workplace. We proudly embrace equal opportunities for all applicants, regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin. If you require any support with your application, whatever the circumstance, please let us know.
