About the Role: BMS Project Manager
As a BMS Project Manager, you'll take full ownership of large-scale BMS projects from initiation through to completion. Working closely with internal engineering teams, clients, and subcontractors, you'll be responsible for dering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
The role is primarily site-based (2-3 days per week), with flexibility to work from for the remainder. Office attendance is optional. Initial projects include major pharmaceutical and infrastructure developments, followed by further large new-build schemes.
This position suits an experienced BMS Project Manager who enjoys working on complex, regulated environments and wants clear progression into a Senior Project Manager role.
Responsibilities
· Full project management responsibility across complex BMS new-build projects
· Der projects within highly regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, data centre, laboratory, government, and infrastructure sites
· Manage programme, cost, quality, and health & safety across all project stages
· Coordinate with internal design, software, and commissioning teams
· Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, supported by QS and commercial teams
· Act as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, site regulations, and project specifications
· Regular site presence (typically 2-3 days per week) with flexibility to work remotely
Requirements
· Proven experience as a BMS Project Manager
· Background dering large, complex new-build projects (not refurbishment-focused)
· Experience working within highly regulated sectors (e.g. Pharma, Data Centres, Labs, MOD, Government buildings)
· Strong understanding of BMS project dery processes
· Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
· Hard-working, intelligent, and self-motivated approach
· Ability to manage projects independently with support from central teams
Package & Benefits
· £70,000 - £75,000 basic salary
· Bonus scheme (circa 10-20%)
