Deputy Headteacher

This amazing SEND school is looking to appoint a dedicated Deputy Headteacher on a permanent basis to join their supportive and forward-thinking leadership team. This specialist school supports children and young people with a range of additional needs, providing a structured, nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive. The school has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality education and care, supported by excellent resources, a committed staff team and a positive school culture. As Deputy Headteacher, you will play a key role in the strategic leadership and day-to-day running of the school. You will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to drive standards of teaching, learning and behaviour, while ensuring that all pupils receive the support they need to achieve their full potential. This role would suit an experienced Deputy Headteacher or an Assistant Headteacher with SEND experience who is ready to take the next step into a senior leadership position. Experience in a SEND school or holding responsibility for SEND is essential to be considered for this Deputy Headteacher role. Job Role:
- Supporting the strategic leadership and operational management of the school
- Driving high standards of teaching, learning and pupil outcomes
- Leading on key areas of school improvement
- Supporting and developing teaching and support staff
- Ensuring high-quality provision for pupils with SEND
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and nurturing school culture
- Supporting safeguarding, behaviour and pupil wellbeing
- Working closely with families, staff and external agencies
- Secure a permanent leadership role in a supportive SEND school
- Be part of a collaborative and experienced leadership team
