Deputy Manager – Children's Residential Home Birmingham area | Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm | £35,000–£37,000 (DOE)
3–4 bed EBD home | On-call 2x per month | ️ No sleep-ins

Apply now to work with a high-quality therapeutic provider, as a Deputy Manager in one of our nurturing homes for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
✅ Must Have:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
- Previous supervisory experience (desirable)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in children's residential care
- IT literate & able to write professional reports
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Supervise and develop the care team
- Promote the welfare, safety and voice of young people
- Lead by example on shift, maintaining therapeutic and trauma-informed practices
- Liaise with professionals, families, and education providers
- Participate in the on-call rota (2x/month)
- Oversee rotas, risk assessments, reports, and incident logs
- Support reflective practice and team development with the lead therapist
