Van Technician
Carry out vehicle inspections and safety checks in line with DVSA standards
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Complete MOT preparation work and ensure vehicles meet compliance requirements
Conduct road testing to confirm repairs and fault resolution
Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify faults accurately
Maintain accurate job cards, service records, and inspection reports
Work collaboratively with workshop staff to meet deadlines and targets
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safeKey Skills & Experience Proven experience as an LCV/Van Technician / Vehicle Technician
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, servicing, and diagnostics
Experience with electrical systems and fault finding
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good teamwork and communication skills
Experience in a workshop environmentQualifications & Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience using diagnostic tools and software
MOT Tester licence (desirable)
IMI or City & Guilds qualifications (advantageous)Desirable Experience Experience working with fleet or commercial vehicles
Knowledge of hybrid and electric LCVs
