Project Manager - Birmingham
- Have overall accountability for successful project delivery including; initiation,
procurement, planning, design, resourcing, delivery, monitoring, commissioning and
handover/close out. - Change agent that provides management, leadership and inspires a multi-disciplinary team to achieve a common goal.
- Determine the most appropriate means of satisfying customer/project requirements, objectives and constraints; time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits.
- Motivate and guide cross-functional teams including engineers, construction managers, and support functions.
- Champion safety with a Zero Harm mindset - conducting regular site tours and safety audits.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including subcontractors and clients.
- Drive performance through strategic decision-making and effective resource management.
- Able to demonstrate a track record of project delivery
- Good understanding of the standard forms of contracts
- Proficient in commercial/project management communications
- Experience in implementing safe systems of work
- Able to communicate effectively both verbal and written with all levels of the organisation
- Effective team management skills which empower, influence & inspire others to build effective teams. Providing mentoring and support to members of the team where required
- Commercially astute
- Able to undertake work in high pressure situations
- Good knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
- Record of a solution-based approach to problem solving
- Ability to see the business vision and inspire this shared vision amongst the team
- Experience of working on a variety of project types
- Member of a professional management body i.e. APM
- Proficient on O365
- 25 days paid annual leave (pro rata)
