Veterinary Surgeon

We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic first opinion small animal practice in Birmingham area, West Midlands

• full time hours including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH. (Part Time hours may also be considered for this role)
• practice is designed to industry leading standards with state-of-the-art equipment; dental x-ray, laparoscopy, endoscopy, Kyon TPLO equipment, harmonic scalpel and K-laser etc.
• caseload is varied with a high proportion of insured clients and Vets have at least 1 surgery day per week.
• ideally you will already have good experience in practice with routine surgical and medical skills.
• if you are keen to develop your interests there is plenty of opportunity and certificates are encouraged and funded.
• Fantastic location to enjoy city life of Birmingham with easy motorway access and good local transport links and Birmingham International Airport is nearby.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• experience in practice
• routine surgical and medical skills.

• Salary to £65,000.00 per annum FTE (subject to experience)
