Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day running of the residential lettings department
• Lead, motivate and support a team of lettings professionals
• Allocate and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved
• Monitor team performance and conduct regular reviews and meetings
• Handle escalated issues, complaints and complex tenancy matters
• Oversee property listings across portals (Rightmove, Zoopla etc.) ensuring accuracy
• Manage the full lettings lifecycle from instruction to ongoing property management
• Ensure compliance with UK lettings legislation (AML, data protection, consumer regulations)
• Liaise with internal departments including accounts and senior management
• Conduct audits, quality checks and ensure high service standards
• Support training, development and onboarding of team members

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in residential at a senior level is essential
• ARLA qualification preferred although not essential as support given to achieve this
• Property Management experience essential
• Strong knowledge of UK lettings legislation and compliance
• Proven team leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional, proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Full UK driving licence
