Hours: 8 hours a day, varied shifts
Pay: £15.19 ph

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Hi-Lift Driver to join our Assisted Travel team. You will play a key role in supporting passengers with reduced mobility (PRM), ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality journey through the airport.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for:

• Operate ambulifts, minibuses, and specialist vehicles to transport PRM passengers airside
• Assist passengers safely to/from aircraft, terminal, and vehicles using manual handling techniques
• Coordinate boarding and disembarkation with cabin crew and ground staff
• Ensure safe operation and control of all ambulift equipment (platforms, lifts, controls)
• Plan and deliver efficient transport of multiple passengers to meet departure times
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults in line with procedures
• Maintain high standards of customer care throughout the passenger journey
• Undertake additional duties including driving buggies, marshalling, and terminal assistance

What we are looking for:

• Full UK driving licence (Category B, held for at least 2 years)
• Experience driving large vehicles (e.g. minibuses or similar)
• Ability to obtain an airside driving permit (including medical and colour vision test)
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days and nights
• Physically capable of manual handling duties
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Reliable, professional, and able to stay calm under pressure
