PPA Cover Teacher
Job Title: PPA Cover Teacher
Hours: Full Time (Monday–Friday) – Part-time applicants also welcome
Pay: In line with pay scale
Start Date: September (or sooner)
A welcoming primary school in the Bournville/Northfield area is currently recruiting multiple PPA Cover Teachers to work across both KS1 and KS2 from September. The school is part of a Multi-Academy Trust, offering opportunities to work across different schools and locations if desired.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2
- Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons and marking work
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings
- Deliver pre-planned lessons (no planning required)
- Ensure pupils complete set tasks to a high standard
- Mark work where required
- Build positive relationships with pupils quickly
- Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management
- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
- 24 months of references, a minimum of one from school settings
- A character reference to cover any gaps in employment (if applicable)
