VAT Director, Big 4 firm, Birmingham: £To attract
● New role in this large firm as they seek to add senior expertise to their Midlands practice.
● This is a Partner led team with big growth plans; they’re looking for someone with go to market experience, able to contribute to winning work for the firm, and with the technical advisory capability to deliver quality VAT services.
● As you’d expect in the Midlands, the client base spans plenty of industrial, manufacturing, automotive clients but not exclusively so by any means.
● A generalist would be perfect, but they could consider sector specialists to match the above.
● This will be a visible role, as you’ll be effectively the second in command to the VAT Partner.
● The Midlands Tax service line is strong on collaboration too – so you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with direct tax colleagues too.
● A great opportunity to continue to make a name for yourself in a friendly, flexible team that will value your input – hiring at Senior Manager level is also on the cards.
