Role: Domiciliary Care Assistant
Working Hours:
- 4 calls per day: Morning, Lunch, Tea & Bed
- Additional hours available in other care homes
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Assistant to support service users in their own homes. The role involves assisting with daily routines and ensuring individuals receive high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining their independence and dignity. Extra shifts in nearby care homes are available to provide additional working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support during scheduled calls
- Assist with daily living activities such as meals, medication, and mobility
- Promote independence and wellbeing of service users
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Female candidates preferred
- Drivers or candidates from the local area preferred
- Previous experience in domiciliary care is desirable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, caring, and professional approach
Additional Information:
- Opportunity to work additional hours in other care homes
