Residential Conveyancer
Residential Conveyancer - Birmingham
A leading national law firm is looking for an experienced residential conveyancer to join their Birmingham team. The role focuses on part exchange work for a small number of long-term developer clients. You’ll be managing your own caseload from start to finish, building direct relationships with repeat clients, and working in a busy but supportive environment where you’re trusted to get on with the job.
This is a genuine account management role - minimum business development required, no call centre-style volume targets. Just high-quality, consistent work and full ownership of your files.
What you'll be doing
- Running your own caseload of residential property matters
- Managing transactions end to end including title checks, contracts, completions and post-completion
- Working with both leasehold and freehold property, with unregistered land and deed variations in the mix
- Developing long-standing relationships with a small number of key housebuilder clients
Why consider this role
- Strong and steady workflow with no need to generate your own work
- Work directly with repeat clients who value speed and clarity
- Structured hybrid model - three days in the office, two from home
- Clear internal support, good systems, and a genuinely friendly culture
What you'll need
- Minimum 3 years’ experience running your own caseload independently
- Confident handling a broad mix of residential transactions
- Comfortable working at pace and using your own initiative
- Strong client communication skills and a calm, proactive approach
If you want a role where you’re trusted to manage your own world and be part of a friendly, well-organised team with a constant stream of good-quality work we’d love to hear from you.
