FLT Counterbalance Driver

Barker Ross is recruiting a FLT Counterbalance Driver on behalf of a client based in Hams Hall, Birmingham

Job Title: Counterbalance Driver
Location: Hams Hall, Birmingham
Pay Rate: £13.46 per hour plus £6 shift premium per each night
Duration: Temp-perm, ongoing
Shifts:

Mon-Fri 22:00-06:00

Key Responsibilities:

* Work in a freezer, up to -20 onsite * Operate counterbalance, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
* Stack and store materials in appropriate areas, ensuring proper stock rotation.
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance of reach trucks.
* Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
* Keep accurate records of inventory movements and stock levels.
* Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:
* Valid counterbalance certification/license.
* Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
* Ability to operate counterbalance and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Goods in/ out, stock checking experience
