Finance Assistant role in Birmingham - Outstanding Ofsted
We are excited to be working with an Outstanding secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a committed Finance Assistant. This full-time, permanent position starts immediately and is a fantastic opportunity for a high-calibre individual to join a successful administrative faculty. We are looking for an enthusiast who can manage the day-to-day financial logistics, contributing to a scholarly and well-ordered school environment.

Responsibilities
Process monthly payroll data and ensure high standards of accuracy
Monitor departmental budgets and support teachers with resource procurement
Contribute to the development of consistently outstanding financial procedures
Act as a professional liaison for external suppliers and auditors
Participate in professional development sessions focused on school finance
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in a busy office or finance environment
Excellent communication skills and a professional manner
Ability to handle complex data with precision and care
Must have the right to work in the UK
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: £27,000 – £33,000 ( negotiable for the right candidate )
