Science Teacher (ECT) - Birmingham - January 2026
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Early Career Teacher of Science to join a thriving secondary school in Birmingham. Rated Good with Outstanding features , the school is known for its strong sense of community, innovative curriculum, and commitment to nurturing staff development.
The Role
This full-time position offers the chance to teach across Key Stages 3–4, with potential to develop a subject specialism at KS5 as experience grows. You’ll join a dynamic Science department that values collaboration, creativity, and practical learning.
Lessons are designed to foster curiosity and critical thinking, using experiments, problem-solving and digital simulations. The school’s new STEM suite includes modern laboratories, fume cupboards, and access to industry-standard equipment supported by experienced Science Technicians.
