An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a skilled and reliable Maths Teacher to join their department from September 2026 on a supply basis.
The role involves teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering structured and engaging lessons that develop students’ numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Maths, ensuring strong progress across a range of abilities.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment with clear expectations for behaviour and achievement. The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
- Be confident delivering GCSE Maths content
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to improving pupil outcomes and engagement
