RE Teacher — Outstanding Church School in Birmingham

An Ofsted and SIAMS Outstanding Church of England secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and reflective RE Teacher to join its highly regarded Humanities faculty. The successful candidate will teach Religious Studies across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (AQA GCSE), as well as contributing to the school's programme of collective worship, reflection days, and SMSC enrichment activities. Depending on experience, there may also be the opportunity to teach A-level Philosophy and Ethics in the sixth form. You will be expected to create a classroom environment in which students feel confident to discuss questions of belief, ethics, and identity with intellectual rigour and mutual respect.

Requirements

• Degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, or a related subject, and QTS

• Strong subject knowledge across world religions, philosophy, and ethics at KS3–4

• A-level teaching experience desirable

• Confidence contributing to collective worship and SMSC provision

• Sensitivity to, and enthusiasm for, teaching in a diverse, multi-faith school community
