Project Manager
Contract Length: 12 Months
Rate: £450 per day (Outside IR35) The OpportunityAn established engineering business specialising in water and wastewater treatment solutions is seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of projects across the UK. Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning teams, you will be responsible for managing wastewater treatment projects from contract award through to final handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle delivery of wastewater treatment projects.
Develop and maintain project plans, budgets and resource schedules.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
Manage procurement, manufacturing, installation and commissioning activities.
Monitor project performance against programme, budget and contractual requirements.
Identify and mitigate project risks while managing change control processes.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
Lead project review meetings and provide regular progress updates.
Support site activities and customer acceptance testing as required.Required Experience
Proven Project Management experience within water, wastewater, utilities, process engineering or industrial sectors.
Experience delivering capital equipment, process plant or turnkey engineering projects.
Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for project budgets and project reporting.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors.
Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced engineering environment.Desirable Experience
Wastewater treatment or water treatment project delivery experience.
Mechanical, Electrical, Process or Chemical Engineering background.
Knowledge of pumping systems, filtration, sludge handling, chemical dosing or treatment plant installations.
PRINCE2, APM or equivalent Project Management qualification.Contract Details
