About the Role
The school is looking for a dynamic Science Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach a specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) at KS5 for suitably experienced candidates.
The Science curriculum is designed to build strong foundational knowledge, practical investigation skills and scientific reasoning. The department works collaboratively to plan lessons, moderate assessments and implement targeted interventions to support progress for all learners.
Behaviour systems are clear and consistently applied, allowing teachers to focus on high-quality teaching. The school values creativity in lesson delivery and encourages practical experimentation to bring learning to life.
The Ideal Candidate
• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in a Science-related discipline
• Ability to teach general Science at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Commitment to inclusive education
• Enthusiastic and reflective practitioner
