We're currently looking for compassionate and proactive Female Live-In Support Workers to join a dedicated care package in Worcestershire.
In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract as care packages can change.
You'll be supporting a warm and active gentleman living with a spinal cord injury. He enjoys staying involved in life as much as possible and values the companionship of his support team. A dedicated vegetarian, he loves sharing tasty veggie meals and needs some assistance with caring for his two much-loved dogs.

When you'll be working: Rolling rota 2 weeks on and 2 weeks offLiving in the client's home 24/7 when on shiftZero hour contact with regular shifts as aboveWhat you will be doing: Assist the client to exercise choice and control over their own lives as far as they are able in everyday matters as much as possible Liaise with and support the family as requiredAssist the client to ensure an adequate level of hygiene is maintained (including washing, dressing and toileting)Supporting the client to use local amenities such as shops and leisure facilities and attend community eventsFollow the service user plan as documented for the clientMaintain accurate and confidential recordsParticipate in manual handling procedures as specified for the clientMaintain professional boundaries with the client and their family members, adhering to direction from the care manager as appropriate What you will have:
