Senior Technical Coordinator

Position: Senior Technical Coordinator Salary: Up to £55,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance + Fuel Card + Bonus Scheme + Private Healthcare The Senior Technical Coordinator Role: We are seeking a Senior Technical Coordinator to join a leading residential developer based in South Birmingham. This role is ideal for an experienced professional within new build residential development, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively with internal teams, consultants and local authorities to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Engineering, Architecture or Technical Coordination, with a solid understanding of technical processes within the housebuilding sector from planning through to completion and the ability to take on increased responsibility across multiple projects. Responsibilities of the Senior Technical Coordinator: Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applicationsPrepare and manage Building Regulations approvalsReview and approve third-party technical drawings, ensuring compliance with regulationsCoordinate and manage section agreements (S38, S104, S278)Conduct technical reviews of architectural and engineering drawingsProvide support in resolving site-specific technical issuesLiaise with local planning authorities, utility providers and external consultantsEnsure compliance with NHBC and Building RegulationsSupport the land and planning team in feasibility assessments for new developmentsTake a lead role in coordinating technical information across multiple sitesSupport and mentor junior members of the team where required Key Skills & Experience Required: Experience as a Senior Technical Coordinator, Technical Coordinator, Architectural Technician, Engineer or similar within residential developmentStrong knowledge of Building Regulations, planning procedures and section agreementsProficient in AutoCAD, Revit and technical drawing review (preferred)Excellent communication skills to liaise with consultants, contractors and internal teamsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesStrong organisational skills and commercial awareness Why Apply for the Senior Technical Coordinator role: Work with a well-established housebuilder/developer in South BirminghamCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity for career progression in a dynamic, supportive team Apply now for immediate consideration!
