Our client, a thriving secondary school located in the heart of Birmingham, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-time Art Design Teacher to join their dynamic team. As the Part-time Art Design Teacher , you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and innovative lessons that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the students. The successful candidate will possess a strong academic background in art and design, with a relevant degree and qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent. Our client values the contribution of their teaching staff and offers a competitive salary range of £140 - £180 per day, depending on experience. • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate art and design lessons that align with the national curriculum
• Provide individualised support and feedback to students to foster their creative growth and development
• Assess and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing timely feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular art and design projects
• Organise and oversee art-related school events, exhibitions, and competitions
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-equipped art classroom environment

• Degree in a relevant art or design-related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching art and design at the secondary level
• Excellent knowledge of art and design principles, techniques, and media
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Ability to create engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Proficient in the use of art-related software, technologies, and equipment
