Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisor

Salary: £12.65-12.85 per hour

Hours: 6.25hrs per week, Mon-Fri lunchtimes

Location: St. Andrew's CofE First School

We are looking to employ a lunchtime supervisor at our lovely school.

We are a friendly and inclusive first school where children are happy, valued and encouraged to REACH their full potential within a caring community.

We are seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor who will work as part of a supportive and committed staff team to ensure that lunchtimes are positive, calm and enjoyable. The successful candidate will build warm relationships with pupils, promote good behaviour with kindness and consistency, and encourage positive, active and inclusive play so that all children feel involved and cared for.

The role involves setting up and clearing away tables, cleaning tables and the dining area, whilst also supporting children in the dining area and outdoors, helping them to develop social skills, independence and respect for others.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with children up to year 4, is approachable, caring and calm, and takes pride in helping to create a happy and orderly environment. Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)

This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
