Maths ECT to join a supportive and enthusiastic Mathematics department
Our Client is seeking a Maths ECT to teach KS3 and KS4 within a welcoming and well-structured secondary school in Birmingham. The role includes delivering clear and engaging Maths lessons, supporting whole-school numeracy initiatives and improving classroom practice through high-quality mentoring and developmental training.
School Information
This large 11–18 school educates approximately 1,600 students and secures strong progress outcomes across the curriculum. The Mathematics department benefits from well-sequenced curriculum maps, shared assessments, and a problem-solving approach designed to strengthen reasoning and mathematical confidence.
ECTs receive weekly mentoring, paired planning time and targeted CPD sessions throughout their induction year. Teachers describe the school as supportive, purposeful and well organised. Senior leaders prioritise teacher development and offer a stable environment for new entrants to the profession.
