Design Engineer
Role: Graduate Design Engineer
Type: Permanent Pay: Up to £30,000 per annum + Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:00 (Early finish on a Friday) Location: Castle Bromwich I’m currently representing a leading Engineering company, in the Aerospace / Automotive sector. Job Description
- Create 3D CAD models and link them into 2D technical drawings, ready for manufacture.
- Develop and investigate improvements to expand the link between CAD and FEA analysis, ensuring the product is safe for manufacture.
- Enhance product data management, to increase transparency and visibility of all CAD data / files.
- Collaborating with different departments within the company for best design intent such as material development.
- Working to tight tolerances (GD&T), always ensuring high accuracy and detail of CAD designs.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Holds a degree (BEng and Msc) in Aerospace / Automotive / Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Relevant design (CAD) experience within the engineering industry (desired)
- Good problem solver
- Has a ‘Can-do’ attitude
- Willingness to learn
