School Finance Manager - Birmingham - January 2026
A large and well-organised secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced School Finance Manager to join its senior support team from January 2026.
This is a key strategic role within the school, working closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to ensure strong financial management, sustainability and compliance. The school has a reputation for sound financial planning and a professional, respectful working culture where support staff are highly valued.
The role will involve:
Leading on budget planning, forecasting and financial reporting
Managing day-to-day finance operations, including orders, invoices and reconciliations
Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Advising senior leaders and governors on financial strategy
