The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Sandwell is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their department from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.
The role involves teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and structured lessons that develop students’ confidence in numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Maths, ensuring strong progress across mixed-ability classes.
As a full-time position, you will take on full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment, while maintaining a structured and positive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
• Have experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
• Be confident delivering GCSE Maths content
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Be committed to improving pupil outcomes and engagement
