The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Property Manager to join a highly respected, long-established multi branch independent estate and letting agency based in the West Midlands.

This is a key leadership role within a well-structured and professional business, offering the chance to take ownership of your own managed portfolio while also leading and supporting a team of Property Managers.

The role would suit a confident, commercially minded property professional who enjoys combining hands-on portfolio management with people leadership, compliance oversight and service excellence.

The Role

You will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running and performance of the property management department, ensuring high standards are maintained across the portfolio while supporting and developing your team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing your own residential property portfolio
• Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of Property Managers
• Overseeing compliance, legislation and best practice across the department
• Acting as a senior point of contact for landlords, tenants and contractors
• Managing maintenance, repairs and contractor relationships
• Handling complex tenancy matters, escalations and problem-solving
• Ensuring rent collection, arrears management and reporting are maintained
• Supporting departmental processes, efficiency and service standards
• Working closely with senior management to drive continuous improvement

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Property Manager or experienced Property Manager ready to step up
• Strong knowledge of residential lettings legislation and compliance
• Experience managing your own portfolio end-to-end
• Confident leading, supporting and motivating a small team
• Calm, professional and solutions-focused approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Passion for delivering high standards of customer service
• ARLA qualification desirable but not essential
