Need after-school care for energetic 6-year-old near town center
Hi there! I’m looking for a reliable caregiver to pick up and supervise my energetic 6-year-old after school. The role would include a short bus or walk from school, a healthy snack, helping with homework for about 20-30 minutes, and some light play or craft activities until I arrive around 5:30 PM. We live in a family-friendly neighbourhood with a small schedule: Mon–Thu from 3:15 PM to 5:30 PM, with occasional additional hours on Fridays. The ideal candidate is patient, engaging, and comfortable with basic first aid. A DBS check (or equivalent) is preferred, but not required. Please share your experience with school-aged children and any relevant certifications. We are a bilingual family (English + basic French), so some language exposure would be a plus but not essential.
