Intervention Teacher
KS2 Intervention Teacher – Full Time
Location: Solihull
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience, in line with Teacher Pay Scale)
About the Role We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic KS2 Intervention Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community in Solihull. This full-time role focuses on delivering targeted academic support across Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6), helping pupils to overcome barriers, close learning gaps, and achieve their full potential.

- Plan and adapt learning to meet the needs of individuals and small groups
- Support pupils in closing attainment gaps in core subjects
- Use assessment data effectively to track progress and inform teaching
- Build positive relationships to support pupil confidence and engagement
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff
- Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching within KS2
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective intervention practice
- Ability to deliver engaging, targeted support to accelerate progress
- Excellent assessment and tracking skills
- A caring, resilient, and reflective practitioner
- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
- 24 months of references, a minimum of one from school settings
- A character reference to cover any gaps in employment (if applicable)
