About the Role
The DT Technician will provide practical and technical support for all aspects of the Design & Technology curriculum. You will ensure safe and efficient operation of workshops, equipment, and materials to enhance teaching and learning.
Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing materials and resources for lessons
• Maintaining tools, machines, and workshop equipment
• Supporting staff and students during practical lessons
• Ensuring health and safety compliance in workshops
• Assisting with project setup and student assessment tasks
• Managing stock and ordering supplies as needed
The Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience in a DT or practical technician role
• Knowledge of workshop equipment and materials
• Understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, proactive, and organised
• Ability to support teaching staff and engage with students
