A high-performing secondary school in Birmingham is recruiting a School Business Manager for a January 2026 start. The school is seeking an organised, forward-thinking leader who can oversee finance, HR, premises, and compliance, while contributing to the wider strategic direction of the school.

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience in school business management or senior operations roles

• Strong financial literacy with experience managing large budgets

• Understanding of HR processes, payroll, H&S, and compliance

• Ability to lead multiple teams and drive continuous improvement

• Professional qualifications (AAT, CIPFA, HR qualifications, CSBM/DSBM) desirable

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
