Trainee Transport Supervisor
The successful candidate will receive full training and support whilst gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of transport operations, driver management, route planning, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the day-to-day running of the transport department
Supporting driver briefings and debriefings
Monitoring vehicle movements and delivery schedules
Helping to ensure compliance with transport legislation and company procedures
Liaising with drivers, customers, and warehouse staff
Updating transport systems and records accurately
Assisting with vehicle maintenance scheduling and defect reporting
Providing excellent customer service and resolving operational issuesCandidate Requirements
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
A willingness to learn and develop within the role
Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
Previous experience within transport, logistics, or warehousing would be advantageous but is not essentialWhat Our Client Is Offering
