Job Title: Business Development Manager - Fixings & Fasteners

Area to be covered: National (Predominately Manchester to Oxford) ideally based Midlands
Remuneration: £50,000 + annual bonus circa 15% Benefits: company car or £401 car allowance & healthcare, 23 days holiday, life insurance and company pension The role of the Business Development Manager - Fixings & Fasteners will involve:- Field sales position promoting a range of fasteners predominately for the lighting & wire suspension market place
- All of your time will be spent selling to roofing & cladding contractors, main contractors, industrial end users, builders merchants, distributors and construction companies / manufacturers
- Order values ranging from £10k-£500k
- Turnover target circa £1m-£2m
- Reporting directly to Sales Director
The ideal applicant will be Business Development Manager - Fixings & Fasteners with:
- Must have a proven track in construction field sales
- Must have sold to contractors & distributions
- Ideally experience in the fixings & fasteners OR roofing / cladding industry however not essential
- Personable, friendly and confident in building relationships
- Team player but can demonstrate initiative and work well independently
- Computer literate, experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Commercially astute, professional, organised
