Looking for painter to refresh staircase with two coats
I'm looking for a skilled tradesperson to repaint my staircase. It’s a two-flight wooden staircase in good condition, currently painted in a neutral color. I’d like two fresh coats of matte paint and a clean, smooth finish. Please include light sanding, proper priming where needed, and masking of surrounding areas to avoid drips. I prefer low-VOC paint and a minimal disruption approach, with dust sheets and a tidy cleanup after the job. If you can also advise on color options that suit a modern UK home, that would be great. I’m aiming to complete within a workday and can accommodate a start around mid-morning.
