We’re recruiting an experienced Sales Office Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a long‑established, fast‑paced professional services business based in Birmingham. This is a key role at the heart of the office, supporting a busy sales function and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
This position would suit someone who thrives in an organised, target‑driven environment, is confident juggling multiple priorities, and enjoys supporting both colleagues and clients to a consistently high standard.
The Role
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring an efficient, professional working environment
- Provide high‑level administrative and operational support to the sales team
- Act as a central point of contact for client enquiries, quotations, orders, and follow‑ups
- Maintain accurate CRM data, track KPIs, and produce regular performance reports
- Coordinate workload across the team and support onboarding and training of new starters
- Process orders, assist with compliance requirements, and support budgeting activities
- Play an active role in supporting and driving overall sales performance and targets
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in sales office management, sales administration, or a similar role (essential)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with a professional, customer‑focused approach
- Comfortable working full‑time in an office‑based role
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; CRM experience highly desirable
- Proactive, detail‑driven, and confident prioritising workload in a busy sales environment
