DT Teacher - Independent School - Birmingham - January 2026
A prestigious Independent School in Birmingham is seeking an innovative and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join their high-performing DT department from January 2026 . This opportunity is ideal for a teacher passionate about practical learning, design thinking and technical creativity.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, permanent role teaching DT across KS3–KS4, with the possibility of KS5 depending on experience. You will plan and deliver engaging practical lessons, maintain safe workshop conditions, support student design projects and contribute to department development.

We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a DT or Engineering-related degree
• Holds QTS/PGCE
• Teaches DT confidently at KS3–KS4
• Is practical, organised and creative
• Works effectively within a collaborative DT team
