Sen Teaching Assistant

The Role * Provide one to one and small group support for pupils with a variety of SEN needs * Support teachers in delivering engaging, accessible, and differentiated lessons * Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet individual academic and behavioural needs * Encourage independence, confidence, and active participation in learning * Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to provide consistent, high quality support The Ideal Candidate * Graduates or soon-to-be graduates (all degree subjects welcome) * Experience working with children or young people with SEN is beneficial but not essential (full training will be provided) * Patient, resilient, and empathetic, with a genuine interest in inclusive education * A proactive team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to develop professionally What’s on Offer * A supportive and inclusive school environment * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities * Valuable hands-on experience within a primary SEN setting * The chance to make a meaningful and lasting impact on pupils’ lives If you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential, this role could be a fantastic next step in your career in education. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
