The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Sandwell is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their department from September 2026 on a supply basis.
The role involves teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ confidence in numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Maths, ensuring strong progress and attainment across mixed-ability classes.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. Working closely with colleagues within the department, you will help ensure continuity of learning while upholding high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or be an ECT
• Have experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4
• Be confident delivering GCSE Maths content
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Be committed to supporting pupil progress and raising attainment
• Have a positive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
