Data Business Partner

As a Data Business Partner, you'll:

• Act as the main data contact for service areas
• Define KPIs, data definitions, and reporting requirements
• Improve data quality at source
• Translate business needs into structured requirements
• Support UAT and ensure outputs meet expectations
• Promote data literacy and self-service reporting

You'll join a service-facing team designed to improve engagement, data quality, and alignment between operations and analytics.

Our ideal candidate? Your CV and cover letter will highlight your suitability for this role, against the following criteria:

• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of data governance, definitions, and standards and improving data quality through engagement with operational teams
• Experience of using data to support of supplier/contractor performance management
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements and acceptance criteria
• Strong understanding of how operational processes generate data and impact reporting

As a smart working organisation, you can expect a balance of working from the office (Birmingham, Bath Row) and from home. Typically, you'll be working from the office 3 days per week and 2 days per week from home.
